Taney County Partnership Newsletter – April 15th

The Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce & CVB and Taney County Partnership continues to share important updates and information during COVID-19 to help your business navigate the current economic landscape.

The CARES Act is bringing much-needed relief to community members who have been dislocated from their jobs due to COVID-19. This week, thousands of Missourians unemployed due to the pandemic should begin to receive the weekly $600 Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) payments as millions of Americans start to see the Economic Impact Payments hit their bank accounts. Starting next week, self-employed folks, contract laborers and gig workers should be able to access the $600/wk Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) benefits.

Over the coming weeks, we will be sending surveys asking how these benefits are having an impact on your business and personal well-being. Your responses help local and state leaders better understand the needs of the community in these ever-changing times.

If we can help support you, your business or your workforce with any COVID-19 related resources, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Call the Chamber’s direct line Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm at (417) 334-4084 and visit the COVID-19 Business Resources Page to help guide you to available programs.
